Steal an ostrich and - it will race back home as soon as your back is turned! After thieves stole an ostrich from a farm in Romania, the bird managed to navigate all the way home, reports Orange News.
Native to Africa, these flightless birds are well known for their ability to run at fast speeds. Navigation skills? Not so much. This one, however, seems to be an exception. Owner Florin Diaconescu has reportedly said: "I saw this cloud of dust heading towards the farm and she came running into the yard as fast as her legs would carry her." Very touching! But why, oh why, would anyone would want to steal such a big bird?
