Super car pile up

In what must be a world first, luxury motor vehicles caused a 14 car accident on a highway in Japan, as reported by The Guardian.

Eight Ferraris, a Lamborghini, three Mercedes, a Prius and another Toyota were in the most expensive crash  ever recorded, amounting to over R31m.  Police believe the accident occurred when a driver of a Ferrari attempted to change lanes while going over the speed limit and hit the barrier during heavy rains. The others collided while trying to avoid him.

It has been speculated that the drivers were on their way to Hiroshima for a gathering of luxury cars.
